Support for Every Mother

At Healing Mama Therapy, we are dedicated to supporting mothers through their unique challenges to foster mental wellness and empowerment during this special journey. From postpartum struggles, to daily demands of motherhood and beyond, we are here for every step. Let's talk about it.

About Me.
Hi. And welcome to HealingMama Therapy. I'm your therapist, Rosalinda.
I have been a social worker since 2008 with over 15 years spent working in the mental health field. After I had my daughter in 2015, I suffered from several PMADs (Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders) including Postpartum Depression, Postpartum Anxiety and Postpartum OCD. It was during this time that I realized the lack of support and resources for struggling mothers. I also became aware of the lack of understanding and discussion about PMADs in general. During my postpartum period it became difficult to work, to sustain relationships and I was in one of the darkest times in my life, despite having all I had ever dreamed of. I knew something wasn't right. I had a small support system in place that encouraged me to seek treatment. After engaging in therapy and medications I slowly started to feel like myself again. Eventually the fog lifted and I was able to actually enjoy motherhood. Now it is my passion to help those in need.
In all stages of motherhood, there can be invisible challenges. This can start at the phase of infertility, pregnancy loss, during pregnancy and after delivery. As our children grow the demands and stressors change but can remain heavy and challenging. Mothers often put themselves last but you deserve time, attention and care also! Therapy is a great place to do just that.
No matter what phase of life you are currently in, I would love to be a support for you in your journey. I offer a space of safety without judgement to talk about the difficult parts of motherhood and life that often goes unsaid.
